Questions

Brokerage questions.

What CommissionIQ reads, how it counts, and how you can start.

What is mutual fund brokerage reconciliation software?

It turns the brokerage statements your registrars send into a checked, organised view of what you earned. CommissionIQ reads CAMS and KFintech brokerage files, ties each line to a client, a scheme and an AMC, splits trail from upfront, and compares the month with the one before so you can see what changed.

Which CAMS brokerage statement and KFintech brokerage files does it read?

The brokerage statements CAMS and KFintech send you, in Excel (.xlsx) or CSV. CommissionIQ works out which registrar a file came from and which month it covers. Today you upload the file; reading statements straight from a forwarded email is planned.

How does it separate trail commission from upfront commission?

Every statement line carries a brokerage head, such as trail fee, annualised trail or upfront fee. CommissionIQ maps each head to trail or upfront and totals them separately by AMC, scheme and client, so you can see how much of your income recurs.

How does mutual fund commission tracking by AMC and client work?

After each upload you get commission by fund house, trail by scheme, a searchable client list with AUM, and trends across every month you have uploaded. Reports download by client, scheme, fund house or month.

What do the smart alerts look for?

Plain rules run against the previous month: a client whose AUM fell more than 20% month on month, a client missing from this month's statement, trail and commission drops, possible redemptions, and openings such as new high-value clients and schemes whose trail is growing. The full rule book is on this page.

Can I use CommissionIQ without MaxWealth?

Yes. CommissionIQ works standalone today, with its own login and Razorpay billing. Firms that run on MaxWealth can add it as a module on their plan.
